Will I need to pay customs or import fees on my order?Updated 2 months ago
For customers located within the United States and most regions of Canada, there are no customs fees or import duties associated with your order.
However, for international orders, you may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or tariffs imposed by your country’s border authorities. These charges are determined by your local government and are the responsibility of the recipient.
International Orders
If you are ordering from outside the U.S. or Canada, please be aware that:
Tariffs, duties, and taxes may be applied to your shipment upon entry into your country.
These fees are not included in your Seido Knives purchase price or shipping cost.
You, as the purchaser, are responsible for paying any applicable charges.
Unfortunately, Seido Knives has no control over these fees, as they are determined by local customs agencies.
Declared Value
We are legally required to declare the full retail value of all products on customs documentation. Border agencies do not allow us to adjust or mark packages as gifts or undervalued items.
If Fees Are Applied
If your local customs office imposes any charges, you will be contacted directly by the carrier or customs agency to complete payment before your order can be delivered.
A Note from Seido Knives
We understand that customs fees can vary widely from country to country. If you have questions about potential import duties, please contact your local customs office for more information before placing your order.
